Terms & Conditions of Sale
Prices:
All prices are F.O.B. our nursery and are subject to change without notice. First time orders are C.O.D. or, with approved credit application, 50% C.O.D. with the balance due in 30 days. Interest of 1 1/2% per month (18% annual) will be chared on accounts that are past due 30 days. We require full payment on pickup or delivery for new accounts and those without established credit.
Freight:
We can arrange delivery through a local freight company who is experienced in handling nursery stock. All freight costs are the purchaser's responsibility and must be paid at the time of delivery. Customers are responsible for instructions and scheduling with carriers.
If you prefer to pick up your order, arrangements must be made in advance. Pickup times are 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Be sure to bring a tarp or suitable cover on your truck. Even a short drive without proper cover can dry out and windburn your trees.
Guarantee:
All stock is guaranteed to be true to name and in good condition. After stock leaves our nursery, we assume no responsibility for growth, productivity, or results obtained transplanting.
Claims:
Claims for errors, shortages, or rejections must be noted on the shipping order and by telephone to us immediately after delivery with written follow-up within five (5) working days.
Custom Tagging:.
An additonal charge of 10% may be made on plants personally selected and tagged.
Park Grade Trees:
We sometimes have available quantities of lesser quality trees suitable for parks, golf courses, cemeteries and naturalized plantings. We can offer them at 20% of catalog price, depending on quality and availablility.
